Eaglebrook School was founded in 1922 by Howard Gibbs as a private boarding and day school for boys in middle school. Learn about our school in Deerfield, Massachusetts then and now, and read about the Core Skills we think every boy should know.
At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
Junior Varsity squash vs. Williston Northampton School
The JV squash team had a great match on Wednesday, January 18, versus the Williston Northampton JV team at our home courts. The Eaglebrook players were super excited to face the challenge of playing a high school team and our boys came out with lots of intensity and determination. Williston brought a 12-player team so we included Varsity player Jeff Lim on our roster for the day. The matches started out as hard as we expected. Everyone gave their full effort. By the end of the first six games, the score was tied 3-3. Eaglebrook turned up their intensity and showed lots of support for each other. Our guys won every game in the second session. The final score was Eaglebrook 9, Williston 3. Many of the matches went 5 games and every contest was a challenge. Two notable 5 game wins were Bodie L. '24 and Ryan S. '23. Bodie came back from a 2-1 deficit and Ryan was down 2-0 before he won 3 straight. Both teams showed great sportsmanship and we were extremely proud of our effort today.
