Varsity squash vs. Salisbury

The Brookies made the hour and forty-minute drive to Salisbury to take on the Crimson Knights. Salisbury graciously included a few Varisty Knights in the lineup to give the Brookies some strong competition. It was Eaglebrook's most challenging match to date, and the Eaglebrook Squash Program would like to reiterate their immense gratitude. Of all 9 matches played, 5 matches went to the max of five games. Of those games, Eaglebrook earned 3 wins and Salisbury earned 2. The competition was tight! The No. 2 match was a nail-biter that could have gone in any direction. Eaglebrook was down 2-0 to start and won the next three games, but not without a fight from the Knights's No. 2 player. The overall game day score was 5-4 to the Brookies if all matches were to be counted, or 4-3 if the top 7 are counted (which is traditional). It was a great day of squash for both sides, and it is a match that the Brookies look forward to playing again next year. The team now sets its sights on its neighbor, Deerfield Academy, which will no doubt be another challenging opponent.
