JV1 Basketball Vs. Deerfield Academy

The Junior Varsity 1 (JV1) basketball team went across the street on Saturday to play at Deerfield Academy.  Eaglebrook to the court after a long warm-up, but the game started off slowly with a score of 7-2 after ten minutes of play.  Eaglebrook took a more secure lead by the half - up 8 points.  

 

Deerfield rallied in the second half, but some good team basketball and solid defensive efforts from players off the bench stopped the surge.  Marco W. '23 led the team in points while Will L. '23 and Efe I. '23 made very important contributions defensively.

 

Eaglebrook ended up earning an 8-point victory.  It was not the prettiest game, but the team came together and put together a convincing victory.
