Varsity Tennis v. Deerfield Academy

Result: Win 7-0

Eaglebrook Varsity tennis continues its winning streak this season after defeating Deerfield Academy 7-0 on Eaglebrook's home courts. Due to the constraints of time and court availability, the match consisted of 4 singles and 3 doubles matches, plus an exhibition doubles match.

Eaglebrook sealed their first point from the #2 doubles team and the rest followed suit to give Eaglebrook the lead 3-0. The exhibition match proved to be a close and competitive match for both sides. But ultimately, Deerfield emerged victorious. With the momentum from a three-point lead on their side, the Eagles posted wins in all four singles matches. Each competitive in their own right.

With a strong opponent now behind them, the team looks ahead to what should be an exciting match against their rivals, Cardigan, on Saturday afternoon. Until then, the Eagles continue to hone their skills and fine tune the areas of their game that can be improved.
