At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
For the first time in 22 months, Upper Uppvall saw competitive play between Eaglebrook and another school. And the wait was worth it, for the capacity crowd witnessed an outstanding game! Even though Eaglebrook lost 3-4, it was an excellent start to the season. Given the fact that the Eagles had only had two real practices, the JV2 squad should be plenty proud of their performance.
Highlights included two long-distance free kicks, goals, and some outstanding goalkeeping. Players also did a great job of spreading the field and minimizing bunching. Since not everybody knows all the names yet, we clearly can work on our communication, which will improve day-by-day.
All in all, a highly encouraging start to the season. And, the good news is we have another game on the same field today. Wish us luck!
