At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
Groton and Eaglebrook have had many a titanic battle over the years and none more so that yesterday. Sometimes you can be the victim of your own success and Groton, added three of their Varsity players to their squad to face off against the young Eagles. This lead to a battle of gargantuan proportions. Emerson Wang facing off against a player with a higher ranking dug deep and showed an array of shots and fitness that guided him to a 3-1 victory. This was one of many as Ethan Woo and Jesus Fierro came from behind to record impressive victories. Adding to this another come from behind win for JP Lazar and a commanding performance by Jaden Chyu, the boys came home with a thrilling 5-2 win. Unexpected with the task at hand, but deserved and thrilling at the same time. Thanks to Groton as ever for being great hosts. As we enter the final week of the season, there are still tough matches to come, but this has been a season like no other and this is simply down to the boys on this team.
