Varsity Baseball v. Cushing

Eaglebrook’s bats came alive Wednesday afternoon in a 7-3 win at home against Cushing Academy. The game was knotted at two until the bottom of the fourth inning when a two-out rally sparked by a Jack de Bruyn Kops line drive broke the game open. In rapid fire, Kieran Keller then doubled, Hans Forselius tripled, and Matt Como doubled, and along with two walks, the score quickly became 6-2. All in all, the Brookies tallied 14 hits on the day. Tynan Creagh (3-3), Como, Forselius, Keller, and Dylan Royal each managed multiple hits for Brookies, and eight different players all notched a hit. After three solid innings, starter Hans Forselius handed the game over to Tynan Creagh who earned his second win in relief. It was a complete team effort from start to finish, and Eaglebrook’s second win in a row. We look to get back to .500 with our game on Saturday afternoon away at Deerfield Academy.
