Varsity Tennis v. Cardigan Mountain School

The Eaglebrook Varsity Tennis team headed an hour and a half north to meet Cardigan Mountain School on Saturday, April 21. In keeping with our new tradition, we made a stop at the Vermont Country Deli to fuel up, hoping it would pay off. And pay off it did.

From the start, the Eagles found themselves in the driver’s seat, winning all six singles matches handily. However, they were many excellent points, and they were each fantastic to witness.

Next up was the doubles. Given we were missing two of our players, the teams were mixed up from our normal pairings. That didn’t stop our momentum, and we won the three doubles matchups as well.

As always, the members of the CMS Community welcomed us with open arms, snacks and water, and excellent sportsmanship. We look forward to playing them again on our home turf on May 12th.

Tired from a long day, we journeyed back to Deerfield, making a stop at Five Guys for some burgers, fries, and well-deserved milkshakes. This Wednesday we face Choate at home. Our fingers are crossed that we can maintain our winning streak!
