Eaglebrook School was founded in 1922 by Howard Gibbs as a private boarding and day school for boys in middle school. Learn about our school in Deerfield, Massachusetts then and now, and read about the Core Skills we think every boy should know.
At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
The sun came out just in time for Eaglebrook Varsity Squash’s final match of the season against the Loomis Chaffee School. Undefeated thus far, the Brookies were excited and ready to play on Saturday morning. Captains Tynan Creagh and Adrian Todd introduced the team for the last time this season, and the matches began. Playing at # 2, Spencer Kirby finished his undefeated season with a big 3-0. Burnham Johnston (#4) and Theo Reginensi (#6), also won big in the first round of matches, both finishing 3-0. JV #1, Evan Khym, played the number 8 spot for the team, as John Pope and Alex Alexandrovskiy were out with illness and injuries, winning 3-0 as well. In the second round of matches, the Brookies continued their momentum, with wins across the board. Captain Adrian Todd (#1), Maury Escalona (#3), and Rohan Edwards (#5) finished their undefeated seasons with 3-0 wins. Captain Tynan Creagh played his best match of the season, finishing his squash career at Eaglebrook with a 3-0 victory. The coaches are incredibly proud of the hard work of the squash players this season, and their phenomenal undefeated season. We will greatly miss the leadership of our Sixth Formers next year, and we wish them the best.
