At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. Learn about the programs we offer at Eaglebrook, from athletics to arts.
At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
Varsity Soccer Team Talks to Professionals at UMass Game
By Nick Leyden, Varsity soccer coach
The Varsity soccer team traveled to Amherst on October 3 to watch UMass take on the University of Vermont in a Division I soccer matchup. It was an exciting game - won 2-1 by UMass - that featured plenty of excitement, including well-taken goals and even a red card. The highlight of the day came after the final whistle though. Two professional players who were on the UVM team when Mr. Robinson, new to Eaglebrook this year, was a member of the coaching staff were also in attendance and he was able to introduce them to the Eaglebrook team. Brian Wright - a current member of the New England Revolution - and Nile Walwyn - who played for a club in New Zealand this past year - both answered a number of questions from the Eaglebrook boys. They discussed a range of topics, from the importance of regularly practicing the basic skills of the game to making sure to lead a balanced life. They even offered some advice about beating an offside trap. After speaking to the boys, Brian Wright posed for a number of pictures with the team. Thanks for Brian and Nile for generously sharing their time and thoughts. It was a valuable conversation and a memorable experience for the boys.
