Swimming & Diving v. Phillips Andover

On Saturday, Varsity swimming and diving travelled to the hallowed halls of Phillips Andover Academy to swim against a difficult opponent. In fact, Andover is the last team to beat the Eaglebrook squad in a dual meet, many years ago. As the team entered the Andover natatorium it was apparent that the Andover team had a large number of upperclassmen, juniors and seniors on their team. The Eaglebrook team swam very well could not match up with the more mature Andover team. Declan Cullinane continued his improvement, swimming his fastest 50-freestyle and contributing in two relays. Michael Chiang swam his first 500-yard freestyle finishing third. He is looking forward to swimming it again on Wednesday. Leon Leung swam an amazing breaststroke leg during the opening 200-yard medal relay, and then won the 100-yard breaststroke. Also, Milo Walshe swam his first 200-Individual medley. He, too, is preparing to improve his performance on Wednesday. The diving tandem of Anthony Lo and Thomas Eglin continued their dominate performance by placing first and second. The Eaglebrook team competes against Deerfield and NMH at home on Wednesday and at Westminster on Saturday. Come out and see the boys compete!
