Swimming & Diving v. Suffield Academy

The first swim meet of the season was a total success. Suffield Academy met the boys at home and our athletes certainly rose to the challenge. Multiple individual wins came from our strongest swimmers. Laith Hijazi took first in both the 200 and 500 free, the longest events we race. Sixth Former Andrew Brooks took gold in the 200 IM and 100 fly. Other breakout swims came from newcomers Marquis Wong and Declan Cullinane, both boys sprinted in for wins in there respective 50 freestyle heats. Solo diver Anthony Lo pitted himself one against three and in six dives scored close to 200 points, this effort gave Mr. Lo second place behind a Suffield diver. Up and comer Jeff Lim has shown his potential early on with impressive races, and our very own Zo Williams is out proving he is not just a top water polo goalie. Look for more action in the pool when we return from break.
