On Satuday, December 1 the Eaglebrook School Varsity Ice Hockey team traveled to Cardigan Mountain School for their first away game of the season. The game began well for Eaglebrook, with a few big hits and an early goal in the first period to give them a 1-0 lead over the Cardigan Cougars. Cardigan scored quickly afterward to tie it up and make the game 1-1 with a little left in the first. Eaglebrook scored a big goal with a few minutes left in the third period to bring the score to 2-1. With 37 seconds left, Cardigan scored again to tie it up. Both teams fought to score the winning goal, and they moved to a 4 on 4 sudden death overtime which would end scoreless, leaving the game in a 2-2 tie.
