Feeding Friends and Neighbors

Hunger is a growing problem in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. Students and faculty at Eaglebrook recently participated in a local food drive, sponsored by the First Church of Deerfield. Boxes were placed in the lobby of the Learning Center and up in the Lodge, and they were filled with non-perishable goods. Eaglebrook Student Council members and other students helped to transport the food to vehicles headed to the food pantry. Many other area independent schools participated in this drive, and all food donated went to the Orange Food Pantry in nearby Orange, Massachusetts. It was wonderful to be able to take part in an effort that will directly benefit friends and neighbors of Eaglebrook School during this holiday time.
