Varsity Baseball v. Williston

On Wednesday the Eagles hosted a well-coached and enthusiastic Williston team but had to relocate to the JV end of the field due to weather conditions. The wet weather seemed to dampen the Varsity team's elan for the game of baseball as it took several innings for the squad to ground themselves and focus on the specifics of the game. A well-executed 1-5-3 double play seemed to ignite spirits in the latter innings and the Eagles were able to mount a comeback to take the game in very close fashion. The team will need to be far more committed to details and positive energy in order to continue winning baseball games.
