Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. Varsity Hockey v. L'Ecole Polyvalente Gaulois de Disraeli
Coming off a disappointing loss to Berkshire, the Eaglebrook School Varsity Hockey team was ready to get on the ice and win one at home on January 12. Not having played L’Ecole Polyvalente Gaulois de Disraeli before, nobody knew what to expect, but Eaglebrook came to play. Play during the first period extremely tight and you could tell this was going to be an exciting game with outstanding goaltending from both teams. There were no goals scored in the first period and not many penalties. In the second period, there were two quick goals (one from each team) tying the score at 1-1. Everyone was still hungry for goals and wanted to put more on the board. Eaglebrook managed to score two goals and pull ahead to a 3-1 lead in the third period. The team worked extremely hard against this older team and was disciplined and only took one penalty throughout the game. Eaglebrook then netted a fourth goal and finished this exciting game with a 4-1 victory.
