Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. The Eagles took the ice to play their rivals in the championship game of the Belmont Hill tournament. On paper the game was set to be a battle, however, one could argue only one team showed up that day and it was not the Eagles. From the opening puck drop the Eagles' opponent overwhelmed and outplayed them. They managed to survive the first period only down one before having to kill off penalties only to see their opponent score on them at even strength. The penalty kill may have been the only highlight of this game for the Eagles as they had to kill multiple five-on-three penalties, major penalties, and more. Needless to say, the Eagles made a lot of work for themselves in this one and their rivals dominated them throughout. The Eagles will learn from this game and with rest and time with their families will be back, healthy, and ready to build off of this bitter 5-0 defeat.
