Sixth Form Students Learn About International Diplomacy

Saturday six Sixth Form students traveled to a Model UN Conference hosted at the University of New Haven. Multiple high schools and close to 100 students gathered together to practice and learn about international diplomacy. The participants at the conference discussed many issues which our world faces today, including, but not limited to, the protection of civilians in armed conflicts and addressing institutional improvements in regard to physical and mental health. The Eaglebrook students who attended, and the countries they represented were: Scott L. 23(Brazil), Mardian K. '23(Kenya), Noah B. 23(Ghana), Mason F. '23(United Arab Emirates), and Leo X. '23(Panama). This conference provided a great opportunity for our students to work towards creating solutions for today's world in a collaborative way, all while still learning and having fun.
