FACULTY SPOTLIGHT: Sarah Prusik

Sarah joined the Eaglebrook faculty in the summer of 2018 as a teacher, coach, and advisor. She teaches French to all grades and coaches soccer, squash, and tennis. She serves as an advisor in Kravis House. She resides with her husband, Mr. Gutierrez, who teaches history. In her spare time, she loves to cook and read.

What are your roles at Eaglebrook? I am a dorm faculty in Kravis House, French teacher, coach soccer, sqaush, and tennis. 

Proudest Achievement? I think my proudest achievement would be developing the ability to "say yes" and try new things in life. 

Last book you read? Outline by Rachel Cusk 

Movie you would recommend? I recently saw a movie called the Wicker Man, which is an underground horror film. 

Favorite Food? Pizza 

My soundtrack is? Laidback folk music. 

Best Advice Ever Received? The amount you worry about something in no way affects the outcome of that thing. 

Why Eaglebrook? Cause it seemed like a great adventure! 

What are your interests/hobbies? Reading, cooking, and talking with interesting people and lastly, any form of physical activity. 

What animal do you identify with most? A deer 

One word that describes me? My Dad always said “Tiggerish” as in Tigger from Winnie the Poo.
