Development Tennis v. Rectory School
Development Tennis edged past the Rectory School in a 5-4 final on Saturday afternoon to improve its season mark to 3-1. The thrilling road victory went down the wire with the Brookies and the home hosts splitting the first eight matches right down the middle in a 4-all tie before top-ranked Kei Kiribuchi fought off a serious rally attempt from his opponent to claim a 6-4 win in the match-clincher.
Also scoring victories for the Brookies were Aiden Choi in a close 7-5 win in the singles while Ian Chow and Toby Peterson handled their opponents in the doubles in a 6-4 final to help the Brookies win their third straight.
Next up for the Brookies will be the Cardigan Mountain School on Saturday (5/25) in the season finale for both squads.
