A junior boarding and day school for boys in grades six, seven, eight, and nine

Thirds Lacrosse v. Wilbraham & Monson

The thirds lacrosse team welcomed back Wilbraham and Monson for a sunny and 70-degree day. It was the first time playing for many boys, but nevertheless, they came to the field confident and excited. Although the weather was beautiful the field was a bit wet leading to some prolonged ground balls. W&M won the face-off and scored an early goal, but our boys - though shocked - held them to only two more goals in the first quarter. The second half began in the same way with a quick goal from W&M. Despite these early challenges the thirds team showed their grit and character by playing hard until the last minute when they scored their first goal of the season. Josh Lim fought through a series of tough Titan defenders to sink this goal. Other all-star performances were seen by our goalie Matthew Lam, who stopped nearly twenty shots.
