A junior boarding and day school for boys in grades six, seven, eight, and nine

Varsity Squash v. Loomis Chaffee

Eagles and Pelicans Fly Off Into The Sunset
As the long winter season ran down and ended in a blaze of glory at Loomis, it was gratifying to see every member of the team excel and play well, to go into the spring break with a true sense of accomplishment. The final record was 9-4 with the only defeats coming to the powerhouses of Deerfield and Andover, and in each of those, matches there were opportunities to cause an upset and sneak home 4-3.

More than the results, the improvement of each player has been the highlight for us coaches. In all my years of coaching, this has been the most dedicated and hard-working group and they thoroughly deserve whatever successes they have had. With six players returning next year, I am excited already at the prospect of what we can do as a team.

I would like to thank Coach Goodrick for her wonderful contributions this season and look forward to working together next season. I would also like to thank our three graduating 9th graders - Spencer Kirby ( 2 years), Maury Escalona (2 years) and Rohan Edwards (3 years) for their incredible contributions to our squash program and wish them well wherever their journey takes them next year.

Thank you all. Stay in shape - work on your individual games and look forward to hitting the courts again next November.
