Thirds Basketball v. Four Rivers

Thirds Basketball suffered a case of the Mondays at the Indoor Action Sports facility in Bernardston, MA., falling in decisive fashion to the opponent, Four Rivers. In Four Rivers, Eaglebrook faced a more seasoned team that used a reliable outside shot to disrupt its defensive schemas. Offensive points were hard to come by. The midrange jumper wasn’t falling The three-pointer wasn’t falling. Most importantly, the rebounds and quick second-chance points, which carried the team to victory just two days earlier against Cardigan Mountain School, were nowhere to be found. It was a frustrating loss, but hard losses build the resolve to train harder, and hard training produces a successful athlete no matter what the score on the scoreboard says. The hard-charging Brookies will be back on their grind Tuesday afternoon, in preparation for a quick turnaround in another game on Wednesday, at home against Bement.
