A junior boarding and day school for boys in grades six, seven, eight, and nine
Wrestling v. Hillside
This Wednesday the Eagles welcomed the Hillside School to the Hill for their first wrestling match of the new year. Hillside has been the runner-up for two years in a row at the Junior New England Wrestling Tournament (Fessenden School) and they always have tough and capable wrestlers. Today was no different, and the Eagles worked hard but fell short in several matches and lost to Hillside, but gained in purpose.
It was good for the Eagles to get back on the mat against a good opponent and it showed the team that they have a lot of work to do in order for them to meet their individual and team goals. The team has to get in better shape and become more physical when they wrestle. This can only be accomplished by outworking their opponents during practice and to have the determination in the days ahead to get themselves ready for NMH, which they will face next Wednesday at home. The team is up for the challenge and will be working hard the rest of the season.
