JV 1 Basketball v. Pioneer Regional High

Eaglebrook played their first game of the new year yesterday against visiting Pioneer Valley Regional. Eaglebrook came out of the gates hot, going up 20 points early in the game after multiple strong defensive showings with Tonton Drobny earning a handful of steals.  Dylan Ngwa and Declan Hehir fought to earn Eaglebrook every rebound, keeping possessions alive and keeping the opposing team to one opportunity a possession. Eaglebrook went into the half up a whopping 32 points led by an impressive show outside the three-point line from Mason Clarke, Brandon Royal, and Owen Zin-Keane. After the half, the team in blue came out hot again, with Yooha Lee leading the way with a game-high 18 points.  With contributions from all over the court, Eaglebrook earned a decisive victory.  Each player on the team had a bucket throughout the game, and the team showed off the rewards of three strong days of practice prior. The boys are looking forward to their next game this Saturday against visiting rival, Cardigan Mountain School.
