Thirds Hockey v. Rumsey Hall

The Thirds’ Hockey Team had a “thriller” in the Macfadden Rink today against an equally talented and hard working Rumsey Hall Team. We were able to score first and did not look back as we took turns exchanging tallies. The flow of the game was back and forth and packed with exciting plays. We put forth a full team effort with all players contributing. We played well in the defensive zone with good coverage and great goaltending. We flew through the neutral zone and had many scoring opportunities. Unfortunately, two practices since coming back from break were not enough to build up our conditioning and we grew a bit tired in the third period and gave up the lead. We did score the last goal of the game and nearly tied the game in the final minute, but did not have the energy to complete the task. We are looking forward to the rematch in a few weeks!
